Terrramare excavated at a record-breaking depth of 43 meters on the seabed at the Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm
Terramare’s dredger Meri-Pekka has excavated the seabed at a depth of 43 metres for the Tahkoluoto offshore wind farm expansion project. The purpose of the test excavations was to test seabed construction methods and to obtain soil samples of the seabed composition at the power plant sites. In cooperation between Terramare and Suomen Hyötytuuli, the dredger Meri-Pekka was equipped with equipment tailored to Suomen Hyötytuuli’s needs.
