Terramare is delivering a fairway improvement project for the Norwegian Coastal Administration with the aim of enhancing maritime safety and navigability between Herøy, Ulstein and Ålesund. The project includes fairway deepening works, improvements to navigation conditions and the installation of new navigational aids. Scheduled to commence in August 2027, the project will improve the safety and reliability of one of the most demanding shipping routes along Norway’s west coast. Upon completion, maritime transport in the area will be safer, more efficient and better equipped to manage environmental risks.
