Certified ISO Quality Standards

Bureau Veritas Certification has audited Terramare’s quality systems since the 90s and has stated that they meet the demands of the ISO standards. Continuous improvement is the key component of our quality system, which is certified in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 9001. Furthermore, our health and safety procedures meet OHSAS 18001 requirements. All operations are audited and various different operational systems are integrated into the company’s management system.


Certification of Competence in Construction Business

The Construction Quality Association, RALA, has granted Terramare a RALA Certification of Competence. The certificate applies to waterway, port, harbour and embankment construction, including engineering. There are separate certificates for construction work in inland waters and in sea areas.


International ISM Code

The Finnish Transport Safety Agency has audited Terramare, and our vessels meet the strict requirements of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code. The Finnish Transport Safety Agency has granted the certificate to cargo vessels with over 500 gross tonnage (GT). The purpose of the code is to provide an international standard for the safe management and operation of vessels and to prevent pollution.
